This program pairs a Cal Hills student with an adult mentor of the same gender. The adult makes the commitment to take the student to lunch once a month during the school year. The student is released from school and the volunteer provides transportation and pays for lunch. Student participants are recommended by advisors and other staff members and must maintain good attendance and a good attitude to continue in the program. An attempt is made to match students with volunteers according to interests, career goals, and/or ethnicity. The students and mentors participate in an end-of-the-year luncheon.
If you are interested in being a mentor or are an interested student wanting to participate in our Out To Lunch Program, please contact the school counselor.
